Flymen Fishing Company Advanced Tying Workshop

This new class explores commercial techniques for tying both freshwater and saltwater flies. We will cover multiple wing case techniques, weighting, nymph bug

Evolution, application of fish skull techniques and various innovative products from Flymen Fishing Company. We will cover new redressing techniques for Trout , and Salmon Season for local waters . A great class to add to your fundamental skills. All level of tiers will benefit greatly from the commercial techniques taught during this one day session.

Dennis Gamboa from The Fly Box will be your Instructor for the Workshop. Dennis has been teaching fly tying classes for over 20 years all over the Lower Mainland. His specialty is Saltwater flies from local waters to exotic destinations he is a Master of the art of commercial tying with over 25 years experience on his Regal Vise.

His creativity and design has earned him a spot on The Lagartun Pro Staff Team and he is also the newest Partridge Pro-TEAM Member to represent the West Coast of BC Canada. He is also part of the Flymen Fishing Company Commercial Fly Tyers (CFT) Program.

Pre-Requisite – Fundamentals 101 or Equivalent.

Please bring all tools, vise and required material thread, Black, brown and olive in 70 or 95 D equivalent and uni mono thread. Uv light and resin.
